More Waves

Our winter break is getting closer so today was the last day to practise our waves. For this exercise we used the help of  a wave study by Claudia Nice from her book: Down by the Sea with Brush and Pen.

We started by covering a small canvas the size of about 20x20cm in a mixture of Phalo Blue, Lemon Yellow and White

We then blocked in the reflection and the shadow of the wave

And the last step was to add the waves.

Even though we all worked on the same project, everybody’s waves turned out different but all waves looked very smashing at the end
