Aspire Art Gallery Petite Pieces 2018

PETITE PIECES WINNERS

Ronita Wilbert was the Judges choices of this year’s Petite Pieces 2018 Competition!

This year, the Judges were looking for three primary qualities – investment ability, emotion, and presentation – but also considered the novelty of the work and the artist’s technical execution. Ronita’s work ‘The Healing Hug’ met all of their criteria .

I totally agree with the Judges and congratulate Ronita for her  successful contribution.

A second prize, Voters’ Choice, is still open to the public until the exhibition closes on 24 February. So pop in to check out the brilliant exhibition on show, and vote for your favourite!

All in all it  was a very pleasant evening , maybe just a tad too hot with the aircon struggling, and the work on display was outstanding. I was so pleased to see so many familiar faces coming to join us.

Thank you Pat, Claudia, Petra and Rory, Glenys and Michael, Peter and Mary, Phillip, Liss and Ben and of course my dear husband Andrew for coming and support me.

What’s Up? was my entry to the exhibition. It’s a portrait of two Giraffes that came to life in a acrylic swipe.
