Should I frame my Art for Sale

To frame or not to frame that is the question. I always thought that including a simple black or white frame with or without a white mat makes it easy for the collector to purchase the art as then it is ready for hanging. This simple frames are the least distraction  from the artwork too. So should I include one of these neutral frames, knowing that  often the buyer of the artwork will choose their own frame to fit in with their interior anyway.

But what if there is a much better option where the colour of the frame and the colour of the mat is selected to suit the art work, but without having to add the extra cost of the frame? Will it make the artwork more attractive for the art lover to purchase?

The problem is that I would have to explain to the collector that the frame is only a virtual display and actually not included in the purchase price. Would this turn of the collector?
