Holiday Break 12th May till 28th May

Lucky me, I am off again for a short break in Bali. We will fly out next Tuesday, staying 9 days at the Prama in Sanur and another 5 days in Ubud. There are some advantages having 4 adult children living with us 🙂

Monday 11th May will be the last Monday class this month and hopefully we will all finish our waterfall.

For the first class after our break the whole Group will meet on Monday 1st June at the Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre. We will all participate at a workshop ‘Acrylic flowers’, held by Deboran Wright.

First Monday Class will be 8th June and we will be looking at a still life set up and start a painting from real life without a photo.

There will be no more Wednesday Group until June and our first day will be Wednesday 3rd June.

Today and tomorrow the Wednesday Group is attending a 2 day workshop at the Logan Art Gallery led by the exhibiting Artist Robin Olsen. Robyn starts her stunning landscapes by covering the whole canvas with all primary colours red, blue and yellow before adding her landscapes. Her exhibition  ‘A temporal vision’ still runs at the Logan Art GAllery till 6th June

In this, her third solo exhibition at Logan Art Gallery, Robyn Olsen, explores the play of light deflected through branches and reflected in water, in a beautiful series of paintings of the paperbark wetlands of North Stradbroke Island.
