My very first Solo Exhibition at the Glenrock Gallery in Esk, Queensland

This solo exhibition ‘Two Different Worlds’ explores both my earliest work, grounded in still life and realism, juxtaposed against my more recent work which combines abstract fluid acrylics with traditional painting methods.

Although both styles focus on the natural world, they do so in two strikingly different ways. While my earlier work is controlled and precise, my latest pieces capture and celebrate the unexpected, unique, and sometimes chaotic beauty of nature without trying to contain it.

This little ‘Speck of Colour’, is one of my latest works and was the first painting sold on the first day.
Everything ready for the official opening at 2pm. Waiting for the first visitors to come.
Some of my pouring paintings that have been manipulated using traditional techniques.
And now the room is filling up. It was a great gathering and everybody seemed to be having a good time, in no hurry to leave. We even had a local journalist covering the exhibition.
My daughters little dog ‘Billie’ even attended the exhibition and thoroughly enjoyed herself!
Even this little fellow found a new home on the night.
All coffee mugs displayed were a great hit and several of them were sold on the first day.
One of the mugs that found a new home.
Greeting Cards on sale are either Unique Original Cards or Printed Greeting Cards using a design of my recent painting.

Thank you to everyone who helped me prepare for the exhibition, and those that came along to the opening night!
