Images Revisited – a 10 year anniversary exhibition

It was an unexpectedly cold and wet October day for the opening of our 10 year anniversary exhibition at the Able Art Gallery. So i was a bit worried if we would get enough visitors to the event. But thankfully our friends braved the cool condition and fully supported our adventure.

Julie set up a display board with photos taken from the Images Exhibition at the Inala Art Gallery in 2008

and I was pleased to have a small sale when a visitor purchased 4 of my coffee cups.

Julie was the brain child behind this exhibition to bring back the original artists from the 2008 Images exhibition. Images 2008 was the first exhibition for most of us. And all participants stayed in contact over the last 10 years. Sadly Brian has passed away a couple of years ago, but his widow represented him and his art during today’s opening.

Sherry too had quite a large health scare being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer 3 years ago but her fighting spirit has kept her with us.
