Australian flora always inspired my art as it is everywhere around me. For this painting I collected a bunch of these fresh gum leaves with red flowers from my backyard and laid them out in front of me. This painting is mixed media of acrylic and watercolour on a 16.5cm round composite disc. It has been protected with two layers of gloss varnish to bring out the bright colours. It has a hanging wire across the back and is ready to hang.
