Best Buddies

Best Mates started out as a fluid acrylic pour on canvas board. I enjoy finding shapes and new forms in my pours, but this time I was looking at the pour for a long time without seeing anything. And then, just as I walked past this little canvas, I suddenly I saw the main bird. It almost asked me to be freed and painted. After I sketched the bird, it just felt a bit loney and then I saw his best mate just sitting next to him.

Best Mates is painted on an a 20cm x 20cm canvas board and is finished with a white mat and framed with a modern white 32cm x 32cm frame. D-rings are attached to the back and it is ready to hang.
