With its beautiful sky blue-coloured caps, which become iridescent during breeding season, the Blue Wren are much-loved Australian Birds. They live in small groups in shrubby bushes, and I can see them almost every day during my walks around the lake in Forest Lake. Apparently, the male fairy-wrens sings to their eggs and their chicks come out recognising their parent’s unique song.
‘Blue Wren’ is a water colour painting on a 10cm x 14cm whiteboard and framed with a white 14cm x 18cm freestanding frame without glass.
