Bold, Lush and Glossy Green -SOLD

This unique and ‘one off’ only original painting ‘Bold, Lush and Glossy Green’ was created using a dirty flip cup pour with Global Acrylic Paint, Floetrol and Dimethicone on 3mm MDF board.

A flip cup pour uses several layers of different acrylic paint colour poured into a plastic cup that is then flipped onto the canvas in one swift movement. The paint will be distributed by carefully moving the canvas. After the pour the painting has to be handled very carefully for 5-8 hours to ensure that no accident is destroying the design. After the paint has completely dried, which can take up to 48 hours, any embellishment can be added.

After pouring this acrylic pour in the soothing acrylic colours of green, yellow, several different blues and a dash of orange, the whole board was covered with these colours as seen on the last photo in the gallery. To change the poured painting into this beautiful Philodendron leaves, I used the technique of negative painting and painted the sky blue background last.

This painting is framed with a modern black timber frame 27cm wide by 27cm high. The artwork is framed by a white mat and protected by glass. 2 D-rings and hanging wire are attached to the back and it is ready to hang to brighten up your home. It also has a stand attached to the back to make it free standing on a table or desk

A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be attached to the back of the painting.

Your painting will be packed with extra care in a sturdy cardboard box and shipped out within 1-3 business days. The Artwork is signed on the Front when possible.
