The Albany red flowering gum is one of the most commonly planted ornamental trees in the eucalyptus family. It’s glossy green leaves with their red flowers caught my eye. The artwork ‘Eucalyptus Rosea’ was part of my solo exhibition at the Glenrock Art Gallery at Esk in November 2017.
Artwork Description:
This artwork was influenced by my search to recreate nature’s ability to form stunning patterns and colour variations as I have always found nature and its shapes and textures challenging. The Albany Red Flowering Gum is one of the most commonly planted ornamental trees in the eucalyptus family. It’s glossy green leaves with their red flowers caught my eye. The artwork ‘Eucalyptus Rosea’ was part of my solo exhibition at the Glenrock Art Gallery at Esk in November 2017.
This one off original painting and was made with Atelier Interactive Acrylics on a stretched Canvas, finished with matt varnish. It is shipped complete with natural light timber frame but has no glass or mat. Two D-rings and hanging wire are attached on the back and it is ready to hang when it arrives at your home
