Papillion – SOLD

Papillon is french for Butterfly. I choose the  french name as it is a bit of a strange foreign butterfly. It doesn’t look like anything you would find in your backyard. It started it’s life a a small acrylic fluid pour on a 20cm x 20cm stretched canvas in vibrant complementary colours.  The butterfly emerged when I used negative painting to bring out its shape.

It is now framed with a white 28cm x 28cm white frame with a mat behind glass. Two d-rings are attached to the back and it is ready for hanging. This small painting can bring colour and vibrancy to tiny apartments. The diminutive paintings can be placed on furniture tops, mantles and little walls in hallways. They can uplift gloomy passages and boring areas with a splash of colour. Art lovers can build up a collection of small sized pictures as they are dynamic collectibles and will enrich your home or office for many years to come

A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be attached to the back of the painting. Your painting will be packed with extra care in a sturdy cardboard box and shipped out within 1-3 business days.
