My Pebble Garden – The natural textures of pebbles and leaves have always fascinated me and forever I am trying to replicate them in my paintings. They are not only interesting for their shape, texture, and patterns, but also what they represent for me and many others. Always looking for the special and different gem in a pebble, I collected them from every corner of the world and created my own personal pebble garden in a corner of my backyard. I feel very intricately connected to these natural elements as I work in an outside studio where I am exposed and surrounded by the very subjects I love to paint.
By discovering acrylic fluid pouring, I suddenly could reproduce these natural looking surfaces. This painting also started with a fluid acrylic pour using earthen colours on 30cm by 43cm acrylic paper. The painting is unframed but comes supplied with a 40cm x 50cm white mat and backing board. The size of the painting fits perfectly in any 43cm x 53cm size commercial frame. This way the painting is affordable and great for gifting. These size paintings are dynamic collectibles and offer endless possibilities to create unique gallery displays in your home and will brighten up your home or office for many years to come. Art lovers can build a collection of similar sized pictures by theme, artist, medium or even a similar colour.
