Australian flora always inspired my art as it is everywhere around me. I love to paint the leaves and Gum flowers of the Australian eucalyptus trees with their many different shapes and colours. This Watercolour/Mixed Media painting shows white gum flower buds and open white flowers full of nectar providing a feast for the Lorikeet hiding in the flowers.
This original watercolour painting of ‘Peak-a-Pooh’ is painted on an A3 size, 300g cold pressed watercolour paper and is framed with a simple modern white 32cm x 45cm frame protected with a white mat behind Perspex. Artwork size is 21 x 31cm
