Australian flora always inspired my art as it is everywhere around me. For this painting I collected a bunch of these fresh gum leaves with flowers from my backyard and laid them out in front of me. This painting is mixed media of acrylic and watercolour on a 20cm x 25cm stretched canvas. It has been protected with two layers of gloss varnish to bring out the bright colours. The painting comes with a 27cm x 32cm x 1.5cm recycled white coloured timber frame. This will keep the cost down and will also help to reduce our carbon footprint. It does not have a mat or glass, but you can hang the artwork immediately.
