Natural textures have always fascinated me and always were a challenge to recreate in a natural looking way. Acrylic fluid pouring has given me the opportunity to create such textures. May it be for a background of an under water scene or for the textures of leaves and stones. This painting started as an fluid acrylic pour with several different blue and green tones and resulted in an typical under water feeling painting. This original painting is an acrylic pour on canvas board and embellished with a couple of small jelly fish. It is protected with gloss acrylic spray to bring out the bright colours. The dimensions of the board is 20cm x 20cm. It is framed with a modern white frame with mat and protected by glass measuring 28cm x 28cm. I has 2 drings and hanging wire attached to the back.
