I am always trying different mediums to create the tactile surface of rocks and pebbles as I am fascinated by the different textures nature can create. In this monochrome painting I used Acrylic as my medium. I loved how I can create so many different shades and tones with just the one colour mixed with white.
In this rock painting I have only used Paynes Grey and White acrylics on an 30cm by 43cm MDF Board and it is framed with a 37cm x 50cm white frame. There is no mat and no glass included. The artwork is sealed with two coats of clear acrylic. Two d-rings are attached to the back and it is ready for hanging.
Petite paintings like this one are categorised as “small format” works and they are dynamic collectibles. Art lovers can build a collection of small sized pictures by theme, artist, medium or even a similar colour.
