Creation of another Painting

Finally I made a decision of what to do with the canvas I had left over after cutting up a 45cm x 45cm large dried acrylic pour I wasn’t happy with. I have told you about the two canvases ‘Australian Colours’, that could be hung as a Diptych and shown you what was left after the cutting of it.

Below is the leftover off the divided canvas and the shape of the colour runs reminded me of leaves hanging of the tree

So I decided to use sky blue and negative painting to create a background for  the Eucalyptus leaves I envisaged.

Almost finished I thought, but something is missing I thought. What about a bit more colour by adding a little imaginary butterfly

All done. Now this little Butterfly is only looking for a friend
