Forestdale Spring Fair
22 September 2013 / Exhibitions
It was an early start today for the Spring Fair. When I arrived at 10 past 7am Marnie and Sherry were already unpacking with the help of Steve. Sherry brought the shade and with the help of everyone it was quickly built up.
Thank you Pat for lending us the tables and easels to display all our art work. It was just what we needed.
Marnie and I were looking after the face painting for the children and we even had some adults, including female Police officers getting a special police sign painted.
The children’s holiday classes for children offered by Logan West Community Art Share Inc were welcomed by many parents and information about the art classes were in high demand. We are pleased that the Forestdale community gave us a chance to promote our upcoming venture.
I caught up with old friends from our time in Forestdale and even sold a small landscape painting to a Forestdale resident. Even so it was only a small community event we were happy to be part of it.
