Koi Fish

Recently we all went to Deboran’s workshop in Sherwood and the topic was Koi fish in Acrylic and Ink. It was a very short workshop and most of us, including myself, couldn’t finish our piece. So I decided to  continue working at home and finish it at my own pace. This was a welcome change to my latest fluid acrylic paintings.

Even so it was very hot summer day, I endeavoured to work on the Koi fish and managed to finish it today. It turned out to become a more impressionist artwork then a realistic painting.
