Always a Surprise

Just recently I learned about a tree ring pour and of course I wanted to try it out. And I was convinced that I could manage a bigger canvas with this style of acrylic pouring.

Boy was I wrong. I liked the colours of the pour but was not happy with the result. These were no tree rings for sure. So what to do with the dried canvas? Repaint or?

I decided that I could cut out the pieces I liked and see what they would be

Looking art he smaller pieces I saw an Australian landscape as the colours just were so Australian.

Just by adding a sky blue with some clouds over the mountain scene a beautiful Australian landscape emerged.
