Holiday Break Painting

While mARTa’s Art Group enjoys a well deserved holiday break, I have started to work on some pet portraits. My first painting is of Balder, the one year old kitten of Missy, a beautiful ragdoll cat and some unknown father.

First I thought Balder is finished, but when I look at him now I feel I have to correct the eyes as they seem a bit wonky

My second painting is of Missy, the mother of Balder

Missy is still in the developing stage and needs a little extra work before she is finished. I just hope I will manage before Christmas and then have two beautiful Christmas presents for the family
